    Want Opinions About This

Ok I have this idea that certain parts my make me pay royalties if me and my friend ever actually make a prototype of this thing but I wanted to get some ideas from people about how they think it looks. Sorry I won't give any info. about how the thing works and before you say "It looks like an angel with a different mill job" lemme let ya in on some deminsions. The length of the body is one inch shorter than an a4's body and it is between a quarter of and inch to half an inch shorter (height) than an a4 body as well. Also it works nothing like any marker that I know of which is why i will not discuss its operation just looking for comments about how it looks.

the pictures on the left show the front sides of the marker and the bottom right picture is the back of the marker just to show that it indeed does not work like and angel. This design is not the finished product and will have modifications to it, but I would appreciate ideas.

You might could use a little more milling (and complete sentences, for that matter, but anyway...). There seems to be some pretty thick plain space around the back area, some milling in there would reduce the weight. Maybe add some kind of curve that goes completely around the back corner, so it's not sharp, and maybe some ripples or something if that's not too expensive to do. You could also make up some kind of really simple logo or something to hide on it, so it would be kinda like a signature or something . Make it so everyone know's it's yours.

i agree somewhat..but i wouldnt have put it so bluntly

we need to know what the feature is that would make us want to buy it. im not talkin explain how the thing works entirely, just a few features we couldnt live w/o, ya know?

i also agree that it should have much more milling done on it. if your shooting to go smaller/lighter than an angel, milling some of that bulk off would be right in the ball park.

                lookin nice

It is already smaller than an angel and with the next design that i will be posting in a couple of days it should be lighter and even smaller. Standard features would include clamping lowrise feed neck, either cocker or angel barrel and feed neck threads (haven't decided which to go with yet ), 15 degree vert. asa, adjustable internal lpr w/ pressure guage. Sor far that is as far as i have gotten. More to come as parts are designed.

Oh yeah almost forgot to add something, I would like to have the operating pressure be around 150 psi with the internal lpr sending air to the solenoid set at around 30 psi. Still in the works but that is one of the goals.

Ya know I just realized something. That body as it is cannot be machined. The ends of the curves go to a point, and no milling bit can get in there to do that.

It doesn't really go to a point, just the dodgy 3d rendering makes it look like that. However after searching through alot of the patents i found one that we would have to pay royalties to in order to put it into production. So we have to scrap this idea and go to plan "b" with a whole new design. So ideas about looks and what you would expect from a high end marker, besides reasonable price, are welcome.

If you have to scrap the entire idea, could you explain how it was going to work? I'm kind of curious how you were going to do it.

Would work similar to an 03 shocker. (Damn Smart Parts). But I think that this design would have had fewer problems than the 03 shocker that people have experienced. Oh well back to the drawing board.
