I'm looking for a source fo solenoids, electric valves, etc. I have had ideas for different guns and I think this one may be the best one yet. Clippard maybe? anything else?

I am in the same boat. I want to bulid a morlock marker, but don't know what solenoid I need except It needs to bet 12v, 3 way normally closed. What is with the different orfices and especially the power values here?
my physics proffessor said I'd most likely have to run a resister or else burn up my solenoid, but I've never heard of that, I suppose real markers could have resistence in the circuit board, but AFAIK the morlock just flops a switch runnig battery current to the solenoid right? It's also stardard practice to have a capacitor somewhere to keep it fed and get a fast response time out of it right?Last edited by trains are bad; 11-05-2004, 11:06 PM.Comment
