    interesting idea

    heres my idea.
It would have three holes one for airflow one where the valve and ram and everything are. the third would be the breech. Thered be a bolt like tube that wouldnt move. heres a question. a big one will the warp feed be able to keep the balls comin with a lot of blow back agticng against it. it wouldnt fire if there are n balls in the breech anyway it works by a ram opening a valve which sends air into the bolty tubey thing.the air rushes out from there and propels the ball.i deiceded the third tube would just casrry the air to the valve or from the valve to the bolt idk yet. very vague description. more coming soon

lol nice idea, but you're trying to get a warp to act against 80-90psi of air against the entire area. i'm going to say good luck on this, but remember, all markers out there have at least a bolt, so i'm ASSUMING that the force is too much for any system to work against. wait for other people, i'm not sure i've been much help here...

yeah i know all that. If it could hold up i wouldnt need to amke somthing to block blowback gases. Any how i got some 3D pics of what the body will look like but dont know how to show them

block gases = bolt / trapdoor/rotating breech. bolt defeats initial idea for this, trapdoor's been patented, rotating breech is already being discussed. best bet is rotating breech. also, i think there's somethign like this on doc nickel's tinkerer's guild forum

Are you suggesting not sealing the breech when firing? I'm confused.

If you don't seal the breech, the blowback gasses will not only push up the tube, but the ball will hardly fire at all. All of the gas will be wasted up the tube, and hardly none in the barrel. The warp could almost definately hold it, but that's not the problem. Efficiency would literally be off the charts, in a negative way. The rotating breech thing... Think about it like this. Ya know the mag barrel? Imagine the barrel twisting to seal off the chamber for each shot. Now moving the whole barrel is a bad idea, cause that's more mass to move than just a bolt, but that's the general idea.
