    Double RT Frame

What do you think of having a rocker type trigger frame with a small single acting ram on each side? What would keep this from being just a complete and utter ramp frame would be instead of a typical switch an IR emmiter would be placed at the top of the frame and the reciever at the bottom, with a slot in the trigger so as it rocked back and forth your fingers would break the beam and fire the marker.

When your fingers broke the beam to shoot, the rams would alternate returning the trigger.

No, your fingers would be breaking the beam so it's still semi. You would just be shooting really, really fast. Take you fingers off and it doesn't shoot, so the design can't ramp because nothing is there to break the beam.

wouldnt it just go full auto once you get it going since the pistons keep moving back and fourtH?

yea, the pistons would reset the trigger but push it to the point of firing again, which makes the next piston go and it would over travel and set the gun off again, i think fat bastard puts it best "its a vicious cycle"

There is a slot in the trigger so the trigger only moves your fingers; it can't break the beam, hence no ramp/bounce that would be inhearent in this design if it was any other way. The trigger can bounce back and forth all day long but it will not break the beam. The trigger doesn't actually shoot, your fingers breaking the beam would shoot the marker, the trigger just returns your fingers.
