Use JB Weld.Everyone is equal, just some people are more equal than others.

e6000. this stuff is insane.i would say its just about imposable to break the bond. (for metal- scuffing up the metal may give a better bond aswell.)

Im sorry but I do not know what that is, although I have heard people talk about it before.Originally posted by chaos lichenUse JB Weld.
I used to have some of that a long time ago, I will have to pick some up.Originally posted by JoeMage6000. this stuff is insane.i would say its just about imposable to break the bond. (for metal- scuffing up the metal may give a better bond aswell.)
Two reason why I do not want to weld it is: A) I have none of the tools to, and B) Its Aluminum, and every one Ive talked to says Aluminum is hard to weld.Comment

bring it to a real place, theyll probably do it cheap, and whoever said its hard to weld aluminum is an idiot.... its easier than welding steel (well for me)
make sure what your welding doesnt need to be increibly percise, and if it is, tell them you want no expansion of the peice, and it must be dead on, so request there best welder.
the guy in my town can weld to needles together without distortion, no joke. (yes with micro tig)Comment

JB Weld!!!!!!!! Strongggggg stuff. especially on metal on metal bonds. At least give it a look. They don't call it JB weld for nothing.Comment

any good 2 part Epoxy glue will hold it just fine Scuff up the parts with 80 grit sandpaper first and it will never come apart again. Gorilla glue is a polyurethane glue that expands 4x its original size when dry so you might not want to try that.

I'm gonna put in a third vote for JB Weld.
JB Weld is a 2 part epoxy designed specifically for bonding two metal objects. it will work on just about anything, but it is ridiculously strong with bonding metals. the company actually calls bonds made with this stuff "cold welds". everyone I know who has used this stuff, swears by it.
you should be able to find it at any hardware or home improvement store. I got it at Home Depot.Pewter X-mag, XT-00179Comment

Hmmh, looks like no one posted back! Jb weld is pretty cheap. Just like any glue really. It comes in two bottles and you just mix a little bit of it together, let it set, and then sand it or mill it if necessary. SUPER STRONG though!!!!!! I know its been said before... and even sby me, but its the best. Good luck with your project.Comment

Heh, I've a long project in mind, unfortunately, it requires precise titanium welding. Going to cost thousands, so it's been benched for awhile.Own: stock '94 original Spyder, Used Nelspot 007, Phantom stock class
