LCD screen help

Hey
I am working on a grip frame project and I am running into cost issues with LCD screens

Does anyone know where I can get small lcd modules that will fit in a grip frame that does not cost freaking 30 bucks?
I am looking for something that is CHEAP !
any links or anything that you might know would help
I will have pics with my project when I am done
