    4 oz question on mag

I just bought 2 4oz tanks. I tried running off my classic valved mag, but it leaked, i think it's the on/off teflon o-ring. But my main question, is there any feasable way to make the 4oz to run almost like nitro? I want a small tank, but i'd like the performance, or even something simalar to it, without using my 48/3k. Any comments/suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance.

either vertical or back bottle asa.

bulky setup: backbottle asa running to a xchamber, to a reg (palmer sideline stab), then to your valve.

smaller setup: vert asa to reg (like one above), then to your valve.

think playing style when using a small tank. most likely you are not going to dump out paint heavily on one round, since you do have a limited amount of air (4oz co2). if you have played pump before, just play as agressive as that, make your shots count. if you havn't, all you do is make your shots count.

this will make you take time on your shots, and not "spray and pray". so really, what i would do is have a set up of either vert or back bottle asa running straight to the valve. mags can run on co2, as long as you're not rapid fireing, causing the valve to freeze up. with this setup, making your shots count, you shouldn't have to worry about having liquid co2 run into the gun.

    BUT....

you did say you wanted to make it run like n2. what i said above is true, but do you have a classic valve or retro? what i said for the above i wouldn't recomend with a retrovalve.

I'm not looking to spray and pray, just like the performance of nitro is all :P I plan on using an action markers 15 rd tube a mag w/ stock, and hopefully a 4 oz tank. Would it be wise to run a mag off a reg? since a classic valve (as well as all RT and X) are basically regs themselves? or should I try and use some sort of expansion chamber or something (or palmer stabilizer)? I'd just like the consistancy as best i can, but using a 4 oz. I was informed by my manager (who is part of this group) that i can fill the CO2 with nitro, but I'd have to fill it to less than 1k PSI and it may not be safe/ feasable for what i want to do... and it may not be safe... I'm just trying to make a neat scenario rifle that doesnt have a huge bottle, and looks a bit more refined is all. Thx for the advice, anything else too?

You could look into one of those 13ci 3k n2 tanks. They are kinda small, about the size of a 7oz. tank or smaller.
One way I have seen people make co2 run a bit better (less freezing), although at the sacrifice of volume is mixing in a small amount of nitro/compressed gas with their co2. I'm not sure on the ratio/concentration, but it keeps it from freezing up at bad.

If you want it to run really well w/ just co2, I'd suggest hook the 4oz. in the vertical position on a vert-adaptor. Then run the vert-adaptor to a sideline stabilizer that runs to your valve. You'll get 0 liquid in the valve, and it'll keep it a lot more consistant.
