this setup above will do the following when the toggle switch is on:

middle light on at all times(if its a flasher, it will flash all the time)
top light will stay on until trigger is pulled
bottom light will go on when trigger is pulled

Note: led's only work when the battery is hooked up a certain way, if it doesnt work, then flip the wires around.

i did this only with electrical tape used to hold the wires, but solder would be a better option. though i have done many dives without the wires coming undone.

for the back plate: you will need to cut holes for the screws that hold it on, and for the placement of the led's. the same screws that hold the switch to the frame are used to hold the plastic on. mark out where you want the led's to be located(in my case with angel grips i have them evenly spaced apart with the middle on in the middle of the window on the left side of the frame. at the bottom of the back plate you will need to bend it so that it touches the left side grip panel, this will provide stability for the plate.

i currently have the toggle switch mounted under the front portion of the grip, but it can be attached anywhere such as a drop or on an air tank.

if anyone has any questions please post them in this thread. if you just have comments, please post them in the other thread.

Thanks! this is going to help me out.

is there a particular size(power, resistance) LED tha i should look for? I'm looking for other colors.

Hey, I drew up a quick schematic that may be easier for some people to read. I do have a question though. Are you running this from an onboard battery or from the intellifeed wires coming through themselves?
BTW- The longer lead on the LED must be connected to the positive (+) end of the battery.
        Good idea BTW!

the led's used are just standard 5mm leds which have an input voltage of around 4-6 volts, since the led's run in parallel, they dont get overloaded. but im pretty sure any 5mm led will work. i just chose those colors.

          thanks for the schematic.

the battery is onboard and is a 12 volt camera battery available from radioshack and other places. i know that energizer calls it the A23 battery, but other company's make compatible batteries.
