My future Mag

Hey guys, I have been throwing the idea of gettting a Mag around for a while so here is the concept picture of the mag I intend to build. I plan to start with a ULE RT Custom, then throw on some little Shocktech parts here and there (seeing as I am the biggest ST fan ever. The DYE UL barrel kit I have for my SFL Cocker should work great with this color scheme as well. I'd like to get "Shocktech" lazer engraved on the valve when I get the body anodized the red to black fade, or maybe that can wait till I see FBM again at the IAO. Only issue I have is the feedneck. ST is not yet making Angel threaded feeds, but they do make them for the new Shocker and the Impulse. I have heard that in some cases Impulse threads are close enough to Angel threading that either can be used... any ideas?

If you're a shocktech fan, you should track down one of the 35 existing SFL e-mags and buy it. :P

but your idea looks good. only thing I'd be worried about is having the valve reanno'd and then laser engraved. I've heard lots of stories about valves that just plain don't work after they've been anodized again.

I can't comment on the impulse feednecks. if the threading isn't perfect, it sounds like a good way to ruin a ULE body and feedneck.

Yea, the SFL e-Mag would be a sweet gun to have, but the reality of the fact is that for as much money as I would need to get one, there is just too much I would want to do to the gun even after I got it (breech Impulse threaded, X-Valve kit, re-anodizing). Way too much to make a used gun into what I want it to be. Doesn't mean I'm not looking though...

As for the X-valve, I may leave it be, just engrave Shocktech under the "X".
