    Under Feed Mag

I was thinking about what it would take to make a cocker that would use an inverted verticle feed for use with warps and Q-loaders, but it occurred to me that doing this with a mag would be much much easier. Has this been done? Seems to me all you'd have to do is take a vertical feed and plug the top and drill straight through the bottom and rail and you'd be all set. Thoughts?

Not possible without redoing the way the gripframe and rail interact. Look at where the feed neck is on the body when it has a rail and gripframe on it - the feedneck is directly above the trigger guard, you'd be feeding the balls through where you pull the trigger.

Electro trigger the 'mag, move the trigger down or back or something and you could probably get a feed tube in there.

Or even better, make a bullpup mag with a longer rail. Move the trigger, switch, and electronics in *front* of the bottom feed so that it's controlled from where the foregrip is now. Fabricate a custom sear solenoid holder/ASA/reargrip to go where it should, below where the sear sits in the rail. Feed paint up through the middle via a qloader or warp.

I don't have a mag in front of me, but what if you ran like a 45 degree angle forward?

That's where the front frame screw is, you'd have to move it, which would require another hole in the rail, a modified grip and a rebuilt mainbody.

Tippmann's model 98 can be bottom fed with a minor amount of machine work. I'd imagine that the A5 is the same way. Most single tube pumps should be able to be bottom fed as well.

You could always make a custom rail, where the ball goes up into the rail, goes back then goes up. Like a two tube design, except the secound tube is in the custom rail. Just a thought.

It'd also be pretty easy to make a paintball raceway to turn a warp left or warp right into a bottom fed marker. You'd have one little lump sticking off the side but the rest could be tucked underneath where the foregrip and ASA go. You could take the profile down even more if you cut a crescent shape into the warp body feedneck.

Might be easier than doing a rail, or a rail/body/grip.

you could also make it come down just over the rail at like 45*. I think you would also encounter a problem with the directly under feed. IF the balls arent pushed up all the way the one in the breach would be not all the way in and chop if you dont have a level tom

There's an easier way to do all this; I've had one in the plans for a while until I get around to doing it, but I'm not going to tell you what it is just yet

I will give you a couple hints:
It doesn't involve any kind of raceway
It is compatible with ALL gripframes

ok it's not really a hard concept and most of you can figure it out but I get a little subtlety here don't I?

Eh, I post all the ideas I can think up. If you want to keep yours a secret, go ahead, but I'm not going to be guessing at it.

I'm not "challenging" you to guess at my idea, I just want it to be a surprise when I get it all done and working and stuff. This and maybe one or two other ideas are like the ONLY ones I haven't posted. Much of my post count is from the Workshop and Deep Blue. I just wanted it to be a surprise, cause I think it's a unique idea and forgive me for being selfish but I wanted to do it first, since it actually is a pretty simple mod (concept-wise).

Been done a while ago,in a Mag no less. :)

I'll take some pics of what's left of it in a day or 2 and put them up.

It was built for a different purpose but the results are still the same. It's something I've thought about doing again recently...if I can find time.

I already thought of this, and was |--| close to doing it as I had the qloader and mag parts but never got around to it.

Basically you'd probably ahve to modify the sear, or something of the sort but my plan was to have the ultimate scenario marker. Ultimate being no visible hopper, no visible tank, no remote lines.

Since i probably will never get around to doing it here was a quick crappy drawing of what the plans were.

I may get back to it someday when i fallinto some money. Tank was either going to be co2 or one of the baby hpa tanks that fit into the stock like on those "clip fed" ATsomething or another markers.

Plans were to use a broken down airsoft gun, and 203 cover for the q-loader.
