is there away to do away w/ the on/off

i've been thinking for a while on how to eliminate the on/off

doing this by running the on/off though a 4 way or a 5 way dcv/directional control valve (selinoid) and making a custom fitting to replace the on/off and just use that to fire the marker got any suggestions ??

or creating a drop in system that utilizes the same technolgy as the freestlye/matrix to fire the marker

    esentially a pneumaticly driven bolt

just have the sear, devolumize the chamber so that the reg is constantly feeding it, and let the spring return it because of radical pressure drop. Recharge won't be a problem since a smaller space, plus larger pressure drop creates a bigger pressure delta and increases flwo from the reg.

but you have to have some way to stop or at least slow the air flow into the chamber or else the bolt would just sputter and not completely recock,

HEHE Awsome idea have the on/off in line with the power-tube, thus teh on/off pin would be held in by the bolt it self, as the sear releases the bolt the pin disengages and offs the air as it does currently, you'd still have the on/off it would just be moved and actuated differently

only problem i can see other than space would be. maybe be mushrooming of the on/off pin as teh bolt repeatedly strikes it, might be worth investigating.

That design has already been done and works quite well IMO. Check out an Armson Semi if you get the chance. That's one answer to that question right there.

Here's a pic. There's no info about the valve system though.
