it's listed in the PDF file for that 'noid.

at 10% duty cycle and a 1/10th inch stroke you should see about 15 oz of force. double the stroke length to 1/5th inch and it's about 10 oz.

get it in 25 AWG and it's a nice 6.6 volt solenoid, easily powered by most 9volts and a regulator.

It's cutting it close, but you could cycle a ULT triggered 'mag with that if you get the angles right. I'd really want to use something with a bit beefier force rating though - it might not cycle fully sometimes, like when the battery sags.

          Translated...

The more I think and start to look, the more I think I'm just going to write off the $15 I spent on a board (I got a spyder board for $15; may still use it on something else) and forget this [project] for now. I might have to save up for an X-Valve and a new frame.

          Isn't the shift key wonderful?

Oh good grief that came out garbled to hel* andback. Sorry about that, this wonderful wireless keyboard tends to miss keystrokes and garble words. Worst mistake I ever made was going wireless. I swear usualy my grammar is not that horrendous(although my spelling is).

I do find it funny that the grammar and spelling Nazi's have found the paintball forums too. I guess you have to when the major demographic typicaly posting here with poor grammar is about twelve trying to act 20. The "wow he can spell and type properly" tactic generaly works on them.

ok ive edited it three times for spelling errors. Im about to go a few rounds with this keyboard.
