You know how when people film paintball games, it's hard to see exactly what's going on where, and how the timing can be funny, how you can't see really where people are shooting, etc.?
What if you made some kind of blimp camera that you could hover over the field to get a good birds-eye view of the whole thing?
Here's where 'the workshop" comes in.
I realize it would drift a whole lot if it was just freefloating, and also if it was simply roped to the ground.
Do you think it would be possible to maybe have inflatable tethers that became rigid when air was pumped into them? Or what if an air tube was run through one of the rope tethers, so when the blimp was in position you could fill it with more helium and expand it so that it would pull the ropes really tight and be able to withstand moderate wind? I dunno. But someone should prototype one and we can all fix it together
