Cocker Frame

Tell me what you think guys. Haven't milled space for the internals yet, thats tommarow, today took about 5 hours and I still need to break down some of the edges. Also if anyone knows if there is a patent against making these please let me know although I have no intentions of producing them.This is a purely mechanical frame. Cocker is for reference.

wow. just wow. that thing is sweet looking. you know what would be a good idea?

make the trigger guard removable and able to accept those sweet timmy guards. that would be even sweeter and you can switch them if you get sick of one style.


annodise it glossy black or a black and red fade would look really sweet


if you pull this off, i bet you can make a bunch of cash by selling these things and customise it. im sure youll think of something.

the timmy gaurd idea is good I might have to look into that. As far as color I was just going baic, red, black, blue, Chrome, and raw. Basically if I wanted to go into production I am waiting for quotes to come back.

well, i hope you try making a electro frame. that mgiht even be easier becasue as lnog as the board and solenoid fits snugly, your set

very nice work, I tried designing one myself in solidworks, but I couldn't make the darn thing comfy enough when I prototyped it in wood. Thats looking really sweet, just out of curiousity, did you ever try to design a trigger for it that hung parallel to the actual grip for your hand?

This is pretty comfortable I need to make some modifications to this one before it is done done. As for the trigger I didnt make it vert cause that would run with more of a 90 style frame but I will give it a shot.This was made using CADD and featurecam (I think I am going brain dead at the moment.)
