    you have to use an abrasive like sand paper or sand blasting(preferred method). then you can polish the part or leave what ever texture you have on the piece.

        bead blaster would work really well too, I cant say for sure where you might find one though

          Try this at your own risk!
          *******WARNING!!!!*******
          Always add acid to water, not the other way around
          To 1 part DISTILLED WATER.
          Add 2 parts of BATTERY ACID. Allow to cool.
          Add 1 more part of BATTERY ACID.
          Add 2oz Glycerin Per Gallon of solution (Prevents etching)
          Works best warmed to 110 deg F
          Must be kept in a PLASTIC container, no metal.

          For the love of God...wear rubber gloves, and eye protection. Keep baking soda handy to neutralize acid

          Battery acid: NAPA store
          Glycerin: Drug store, skin care section.

          Use wisely. hope this helps.
