    Some noob question!!!

Hey, I just aquired a second hand minimag and I have a few questions:

First where is a good place to find the small hose that is at the top of the minimag along with all of the 90 degree elbows that the hose attaches too?

Second the mag is a right feed, now I saw that I could replace that right hand feed for a vertical feed is that right? Where can I get one?

Third is it possible to install an on/off valve(the mag already has a gas thru grip installed but no on/off valve) if so I heard that KAPP is a good brand, how would I do that?(since I saw that the KAPP on/off doesnt screw into the bottom of the mini's grip)

Finally where can I get some oil and replacement parts for it? There is no book or video, where can I find a minimag video? I apologize if these questions have been asked or if this is the wrong forum for these questions, it is kind of important and I figured that this is the right place for these questions since Mag Owners stick together!!!

welcome to AO and glad you got a mag. to get a macroline check out paintball gear. if you want a verticle feed, talk to luke (just search his name) and he can do the verticle feed mod for you for about $20 or so. or the other option is a ule, which takes cocker threads and is very lightweight. and if you want an on/off valve, if i understand you right, get this little drop

    hope that helped

    welcome to AO

The steel braided hose is a bit more stable than macro/mirco, and it uses a 1/8, so yes, it can be replaces by macro if you wish. Macroline is liked because it can be custom to any size with no special tools (other than a sharp knife), whereas stainless braid is one size only, that particular piece can't be changed sizes. The macroline requires a special fitting, and it is just inserted into that, I believe it is a compression fitting (may have gotten name wrong), so it's really easy to install. Cocker threads means that that it uses auto-cocker threaded barrels, a popular design, as well as one of the most common. Any on/off will work on a mag, but you may need a rail or a drop forward to mount it correctly (basically a mounting bracket). You can get Luke to convert your current body, or if you go to www.Airgun.com AGD can directly sell you a ULE body (ULE stands for Ultra-Light Engineering), it's aluminum, using "cocker" threads, and angel detents (Angel referring to the nice electro marker, detent being that part that holds the ball in place, also a common size). Replacement parts can be bought at www.Airgun.com, possibly your local shop. Video's are the same, a far as oil, it uses normal paintball oil, though goldcup is what I personally use, this can be found at your locel paintball pro-shop. and most importanly....

As far as an on/off, if you are using a CO2 tank, you can have one directly on the bottle (IE Smart Valve), or one check out on: http://www.actionvillage.com/is-bin/...ll-gas-systems they have alot of various option you can use, if you have any questions, my AIM is TheUnforgiven987, I'll help ya no problem.
