    I love this forum.....new diea

I love this forum....its like welcome to the land of poormen and good ideas WHOOOP!

ok now to the idea/ new project.

Looking back over the electricians project and over phish's(if i miss giving credit post and yell at me about it), ive come to a new idea. originaly i had been thinking sear tripper noid, but after comparing the size solenoid i need in that application to the size ram, well it wasnt a very pretty picture. so i decided i still wanted to go electric, but i wanted pneumatics. I tossed around several ideas and finaly came up with one that not only will give me an e-trigger, but will let me EASILY go to a mech pneumatic trigger,or even back to a stock sear and rod assembly with hand tools...

i picked up this solenoid and will be getting the smav-3 and mpa-3 that phish used in his setup. the plan is to use a simple drilled out adapter with a plunger(kind hard to explain.....ill try to draw a 3dmax animation of what im hoping for tommorow) to connect the two together. the solenoid is a 6v core intermitent cycle(i did some basic numbers and got it as the highest dutycycle/ strength i could find and still kinda ere on the side of caution). What im hoping to do is set it up not only for electric operation, but to be able to easily instal the smav-3 as a mech operated option to. I also believe i MIGHT be able to get away running this in a classic valve with CO2 configuration, wich will kick ***

Anyway hopefuly the new toys will be here before to long(solenoid is on order and the electrician is being a nice guy and doing the clippard oreder ). i may have wasted 30$ on the solenoid and this may not work, but ive already got a cheap spyder board coming in i can use as a basic control system, and if it works il get a predator.

Does anyone see any immediate problems with this idea(besides the board not having adjustable dwell setting.....and since its a stop gap measure im not worried about it.)

thanks to ~E~,phish, and the miriad of others ive been reading posts from for a while(if i forgot your name i still like you.....but its five thirty and im trying to type this on my break from studying russian....)
