I need a pro to build this for me

I want to take a 32 Degrees Delta 68 and make it into an electro by using either a spyder frame or emag frame (in which case i'd also use the emag battery housing.. i know it's big but it would add a very unique look)

I will supply the parts and pay for the labor.

First, you need to figure out how the Delta is fired...

I Spyder grip frame might work, because they use a solenoid to trip the sear, and I'm assuming that the Delta is a sear tripper. An Emag frame would take some work to fit, plus the emag system uses a solenoid to PULL on the Mag sear, so thats not gonna work.

Depending on the setup of the Delta sear, if you used a Spyder frame, all you'd have to remember is to make the solenoid trip the sear, and make sure the gripframe screws match up...if they don't, you drill more holes to make it fit.

    Its incredibly easy to do...

You should go to each gun manufacturers forum or call them up. Ask the OWNER of the company why his gun is better. When you get your answers come back here and tell us what they said.

You should buy my gun because I have 5000 posts that say I care.

hmm, one thing. where does the 12 gram go on the 68? If it's in the trigger frame therein lies a new problem. There's no way to get a 12g inside a spyder frame.

Wait...you don't even HAVE a Delta 68? The 12 gram goes in a chamber under the barrel in front of the grip, if i recall correctly.

Why do you want to do this/have someone do this for you if you don't even have the gun?? I'm confused.

Not to be too much of a buzzkill here, but if you're intending on this being a fast firing pistol, you might want to research the recharge of a 12 gram on the delta. Typically from what I've noticed, even without electro its easy to overshoot the recharge on the 12 gram.

Alright, now that the practical aspect is out of the way, if this is merely a technique piece more power to ya, and I hope it looks bomb when completed.

I'd do this just so see the finished product - if you still want to, that is. As long as the bolt has a visible catch, this should actually be fairly easy. Just to echo what has already been said here - the recharge on 12 gram cylinders is so low that you could probably come close to out shooting it normally -- although the shock when you pulled this thing out would more than make up for it. If you want me to do the work for you, you have to either supply/pay for all the parts, and then I'll take whatever you think is fair for labor. Send me an e-mail at [email protected] or give me a call at (925)-360-4991 if you're still interested. Just to shake off any concerns you may have, I have been dealing with metal and machining for 5 years, and electronics for longer than I can count.

Alright, may not be using the delta but I'll say something. Pirahna USP. Uses all Pirahna stock parts, and does accept grips. Whats that mean? You can slap on the Pirahna after market electro grip. It will work, no milling or anything fancy at all needed, except some allen wrenches and maybe 10 minutes of your time 9half of which is opening the evil clam shall packaging the USP's come in.

of course this involves more work, but just another idea

cheap spyder or spyder clone body - ~50
                          Electro frame ~70
                          co2 adapter -12
                          12 round pistol magazine ~20

just modify the lpr to accept the co2 adapter, block the regulator from letting air out. then put on the electro frame, and do a little handy work cutting the feedneck and gluing or welding the magazine to the top. then maybe a really short barrel

just another way to think about

Definitely like commissar's idea...after seeing that, I may just do that as a little sidearm. That would be great fun...one thing, though...is the USP able to be hooked up to a constant air source instead of a 12 gram? That way running a remote may be easier than 12 gram...recharge rate will keep up, plus you don't have to swap out annoying 12 grams. Anyway, I like the idea Butch.

On the bottom of the USP there is a screw, I believe it is to plug up the bottom in case you did want a bottom line. IF however that is not built for that, you could take a drill press, and after completely removing all parts from the marker, drill a hole (I think 1/16") and then tap the hole (carefully) with a 1/8" NPT. This would allow you to put in a stainless hose, macro/micro, or even re plug the hole if you really wanted to. Any airsmith can do it if you really don't want to, pretty easy though. Doc has a drill size to tap size chart somewhere on his site. Hope I helped, and good luck.
