Has Anyone Turned Their HL or HR Twistlock Barrels Into CF Ones?

I've got three twist lock barrels that I'd like to convert to CF. Before I undertake this adventure, I'm curious if anyone has done this?

    it's simple enough...
remove the body from the rail...
adjust the barrel so that the breech is vertical
mark @ the point throught the twist lock hole
pull out the barrel and use a 6mm drill bit (or there abouts) to make the a little indentation in the groove that's already there....

    simple

Well I did it, and it seems to work pretty well. I'm going to work with them a little more and see if I can get them to stay in place a little more securely.

                well done

might have to make the hole a fraction deeper or larger....

I had to part mill my HR barrels so I could actually get them onto the twistlock pin...

                that was "fun"...

                but see how it goes!

i have heard of people using the twistlock barrels for a hr or hl for a cf by inserting the barrel and adjusting(tightening) the twistlock piece so that the barrels stays in place.

That just seems like it would make it more difficult for you to get you barrel on and off though. Measuring it out, and tapping a small "hole" for the twistlock pin to sit in worked just great for me!
