    tri-burst mag...

Alright, i've thought for quite awhile on this. I want a tri-burst mag, but without any electronics, but I can't think of anyway to achieve this. I was hoping that perhaps you folks here may have an idea... I really would rather not go electro if I can help it.

i am pretty sure you would need to mod the sear... but i am unsure ask one of the guys on this paintball forum called Automags.org, they can help...

(if you are not succeptable to jokes this is a joke except about modding the sear )

      Pull the trigger three times

Are you thinking of something like the autoresponse frame?

You're gonna need either something like a wheel that rotates 120 derees each time you gun cycles, and on the third have it close some valve, or have something like three valves that close each time a shot is fired, and upon release of the trigger open them all up again. But this is gonna be pretty difficult, and next to impossible without using custom built parts. It's hard enough to find things that fit in the frame, much less something that will limit a cycle to three times.

Not shure if you have ever seen one but Proline made the Autoresponce trigger in the mid 90's. You got 2 shots from a full trigger pull. It was done be a springed cam in the trigger frame that did a complete pull/release in each half pull, so pull trigger= 1 shot / release= 1 shot. There used to be a sound clip on the fourm of my shooting 15bps with my Autoresponce and a classic valve on C02(someone told me you can only do 8-10 bps on co2 LOL). If your intrested I could find some pictures of the frame and internals I did for someone else, so you can get an idea of how they did it and maby change things around for a 3rd shot in the mix.

PS the gun would be illeagle at all feilds unless you could lock out the multishot. Thats one reason the Autoresponce is so rare, it was only built for a few months before getting outlawed

I say your best bet would be to live with 2 burst and find an auto response frame.. But good luck with trying to find one!!
