    Just a quickie

Okay.. E-Mags need a huge honkin' battery because of that big stinky noid. One lil' noid isn't going to do it. I was just thinking.. what if that big noid was replaced by *gasp* dual noids! (excalibur style, seeing as how a single 9V operates an excal)

Just a thought. I figure if I toss enough out that eventually something neat will come of it.

I don't understand how dual noids would help? Two small noids doing the same job as a big noid will draw just as much current as one big, if not more due to energy losses. And comparing an excal to an e-mag is really irrelevant. There isn't anything similar about them. Besides, the excal uses pneumatic soleonid valves, which uses a lot less current than what the noid in the E-mag does, as well as the noids in ULT electro mags, such as the devilmag, my homemade electro frame and spydermags.

In short, using two noids will only add one more thing that could break, and likely diminish performance.

Where would you place the second solenoid(Assuming that you use the same grip frame)

Voltage isn't the issue, it's current. Two smaller noids will not help.
