    What board for an Ir3?

Like the title says, I am wondering what types of boards have been successfully modded into an angel. Someone so kindly ruined the stock board in my ir3, so I saw this as a good opportunity to do some custom work to my angel. I would also like to incorporate eyes into the gun and run off of a standard 9 volt battery. I know the predator board incorporates all of the things I've mentioned and then some, but I thought it would be cool to do the work myself. Is it possible to purchase a pred board and do the install myself? I also need to know what types of boards could control everything successfully on the ir3 and just how much work is involved in this type of project and if this is even worth my time and effort. Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Self-install Predators are $160. Contact TAG and they'll hook you up. Self-install kit comes with board, eyes, 80g switch, wires, etc...

Thanks man. I didn't know preds were that cheap. Are there any other types of boards that will work?

The correct answer to any question beginning with "What board for..." is "Predator board, silly."

you could more than likely replace COPS2 with a high-blocked breakbeam eye circuit.

unlock the modes and you've basically got pred.

I'm in the process of putting a frenzy 116 from an alias in my Fly(ir3)

Matt, that is more along the lines I'm talking. A pred board would be nice, but I wanted to see what types of boards from other guns would work good. I was thinking of trying a stock dm4 board being I have access to a few.
