    Double-Barreled Mag

So i have had a fierce case of insomnia recently, and what better way to work my way to sleep than paintball? so i got to thinking about something i believe is completely possible, and once i get money, i will pursue it: a double barreled, single triggered mag

i figured i can make a custom rail for them, because i made a coustom one for myself. the sears would be connected in a Y shape, and fit like a normal sear into the trigger. but, i have run into problems. the first is finding a reverse valve(preferably RT), which is sadly, alot harder than it seems. the second is coming up with a way to split the air from the tank. i thought about some way doing a double elbow tap in a drop forward, but i dunno how/where i could get that done.

    thats the idea, discuss.

A hell of a project, hope you can pull it off.

Here's a reverse X valve someones selling in the BST forums http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=180733

Palmers has one of the biggest selections of fittings I ever seen online, maybe you can find something here.

about the tap in the tank...

get an on/off that has an air hole on both sides and just put an elbow at each side.

I dont know, but I have a cheap duckbill made by Dead on paintball, and that has an air inlet on each side. Their site is down though. Just ask your local proshop if they have any.

just look around...alot of the cheapo spyder bottomlines came with guage ports in them, opposite the hose port...both would be 1/8" npt, so could be used as airlines...

The "dual-mag" was built by AGD in the 90's in exactly the same way. Now it is powered by a flatline with hoses coming out of both low side ports (by removing the gage).

Hey I think I might have seen it. There is a double barreled mag at my local pro shop, Hit n Run paintball. It was in a magazine a long time ago in the 90's. Maybe it's the same one. It's just funny that somebody else thought of doing it too.
