    chimera on a bko

so i was thinking about getting a new frame for my bko and i look over at my brothers intellifeded chimera mag... and i thought to myself "self, if you could hook up that frame by drilling 2 holes and a little tapping, and mod the switch to go to the board instead of the warp, would that work?" its the same principal... i would get a lighter switch and install triggerstops and triggersprings.

its the same concept, switch on a frame with the battery in the frame, thats it... 2 screws to hold it on.

    annyone have any input?

:edit: and annyone think they could get the measurments for other frames like a 03 matrix or impulse?

Just buy an OTB frame if you want a vert frame. Modding the Chimera would be ridiculously hard. Simply buying an OTB would be cheaper and you wouldn't have to mod anything. They're great frames too.

Zenitram also makes the Z-grip for Bushys. It's basically a Ygrip though. Not angled as far forward as a Z but it's called a Z.

Off topic. Have you herd anything about this Advent marker they advertise?

go for it if you know how to rewire it and all. Your hard part would be making sure the trigger would hit the switch. Im willing to bet if you wanted a clean doing of this, LUKE could prob help you out. He got my Hyperframe trigger set up so that it hits the switch OH SO NICELY

EDIT: I thought OTB went out of business, could be why you dont see their new "Advent" marker comign out

          a follow up...
If i can slap a hyperframe on an angel, why couldnt you put a chimera on a bko? The problem is, I did mine b/c my angel needed a new battery and i didnt feel like putting all that extra cash and my hyperframe, having no noid, was just lying around. Providing you have ample space for everything and you have a know how of soldering wires and such.
