    metal works

I have no idea about working with metal, but how hard would it be to make the thred adaptor for a twist lock? what is a good metal to use? what equiptment would i need or a contact to have (person to take it to)

any other pointers that would be good to point out that i might have forgoten?

You want a cocker threaded adapter for a classic SS body?

Why don't you e-mail doc and see if he can make you one with the threads you want, or at least be able to send you a blank so someone with a lathe can cut the right threads. I would e-mail him first though, there is a good chance he would do it.
