Nice job on the pistol Nate! Let me know when your ready, I can machine you up a custom one-peice rail. I also have the specs and design for a bottom feed mag body which uses a barrel/breach insert that has the detents included and changes the barrel to autococker threads. All you will need to do is get the bottom feed magazine working. I was working on a similar idea for my AR15/Automag conversions but got side tracked by a summer of recreational pyrotechnics BTW, if your haveing trouble with the sear position, I figured out I could machine my own sears and put the trigger bar where I needed it. Good to hear from you Rick! I was hoping to contact you to talk a little about choppin up the ar-15. Would I be able to look at some of those specs of the bottom fed body? Im going to be home from school next week for a month and a week and I intend to do my work then and possibly complete this project.

Also, im sure you have some extra ar-15 mags laying around... could i buy a couple? I'm wondering if I can use the spring in the mags. The first mag will probably be half pexiglass to make sure that all feeds well.
        Nate

Sure, no problem. Just give me call before you head up to my place. I will try and dig up an old AR mag for you to chop up. I would go with a thermold just cause they are easy to modify. I think the spring in the standard magazine is too strong. Your best be is to go with a bent-U tube inside the AR mag. I'll have a print out of the mag rail and body ready for you when you show up. Glad to hear school is going well. RB

My cell phone got stolen today... could you pm me your phone #? For the mag, I have the idea of stacking the paintballs vertically but in a zig zag pattern. I measured and it should be able to hold up to 30 paintballs with that format. The U design will take up a good amount of room. The other designs that I have consists of two/three magazine-like tubes attatched side by side and feeding together into one output area. I have them drawn out... ill scan em when i get home next week.

            Thanks,
            Nate

Sent you my cell# via private mail. Your magazine idea sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing your drawings on the design. RB
