Can some explain or point me in the right direction of some information on QEVs? I know that means quick exhaust valve, but how do they work? What is their purpose?

When pressure is applied to their input, the exhaust is closed and air flows through the valve to the output.
When pressure is removed from the input, the exhaust opens and the air from the output vents directly from the QEV exhaust port.Comment

That makes sense now. All the diagrams I looked at made it sound like the output and the exhaust are one in the same. They aren't. All is good now.
