    Mill

I think I want to start making custom triggers and thigns of that sort. Nothing big like bodies though.

    So my questions are:

-What type of aluminum would I buy and where? (Link and type)

-What all would I need to make custom triggers? (Tools, materials)

I have access to a dremel, drill press and a small tabletop saw that has the thin blade that moves up and down.

Anything else I will need to make the triggers, tool wise?

Thanks and I am new so any info. on this is greatly appreciated.

If I were to purchase that, would I be able to make triggers using that and also using a drill press for the holes??

    If so, I am buying..lol

That looks liek one fine piece of machinery. You could more than likely make trigger using that, or at least mmodify an existing one. I don't think it would be very uniform, however.

      Good Luck.

youd want 6061 sheet aluminum, probably quarter inch thick, but that depends on the trigger. however, it would probably be cheaper and more profitable using delrin or maybe even fiberglass. it would be cheaper and easier to work with. you can use anything you want to make it, youll need a drill press, and a mill couldnt hurt... you could use lots of different tools, even a hack saw and files.

that dremmal.... good luck cutting though 6061 Alum with that!! We have one at our schools wood shop its can barily get though hard wood. you Need a mill designed for metal milling not a drill press. Even if you go with derlin or pastic or Polyuatiene(sp) if you go into mass amounts i wouldnt suggest a hack dremal on on all of them

We have made 2 triggers and both have sold already.

They are in the miscelanious section.
