Not that I've thought about this....or even talked about with a group of friends but with one of the scaled replicas you could pretty much slap it on with alittle creative cutting it's been 4 or 5 years since I thought about this but I think we worked something out on paper that seemed fesable and relatively easy.Girls are no substatute of paintball

of course you haven't. neither have i...
. the funny thing is that i'm not even a starwars nerd. i haven't seen all of the movies and don't realy care if i ever do or not.
but it does make for a pretty cool looking mag. and it looks like it could be done with minimal effort and expense.Comment

id say prototype it up...those could hit the shelves by next year...looks like a feasible solution to problems that arise on the fieldComment

I got an idea. Take a classic mag.... chop down the trigger frame and remove the foregrip until its as close to "handle" shaped as possible... then slap on some kind of plastic barrel! I'll demonstrate with a picture in a little while.Comment

Oh please dude ... a blaster is random and clumsy. A lightsaber is a more elegent weapon, for a more civilized age.
see ... if you were a Star Wars nerd you would know these things
"It a lightsaber. The weapon of a Jedi Knight. Not as random or clumsy as a blaster. An elegant weapon for a more civilized age." - Obi Wan KenobiComment

No seriously, this is feasible. Look at the pics I did. They are bad, yes. But, i did them in a hurry.

And, of course, this is how it would look when it is being used!

Now just slap a little 10 round air pistol clip on top and then a remote hose and you have your paintball light saber. Or just get a very long piece of .68 diameter colored tube and call it a "barrel" and then go a "barrel tagging" with your "light sabre (saber?)"Comment

hey spyder_technician:
wouldnt the guy (WHO HAS NO MASK ON FTL!) actually be holding the "lightsaber" further up on the handle? Oh.. say.. around the trigger area? You know, so he can fire it and whatnot.
