    Gas through rail

Ive been kicking around this idea about running hardline from a fore grip, through the rail, to the valve.

Im starting with a Ion grip frame that I plan to mount on a ol AGD rail. The fit is near perfect.

The main thing caught in my mind is my plan to use banjos. Can anyone tell me about the problems experienced with these? Ive read about pinched o rings and such. Was that all? What was the rail update?. Can anyone lend some words of advice?

    Thanks!

Do you mind if I ask where youve ran into trouble? My biggest worry is about the banjos acting horribly.

Thanks for the assurance on the banjos thanks for the luck(I shall need it). Ive got all the bits except the hardline. Ill keep posting progress and pics(when I get my camera back(maybe I could use the scanner? )).
But Ill try to be quick about it as to keep this interesting.

      Thanks Rogue

Theres enough room to run the line right by the sear inside the ion frame. If I come too close, Ill just make it peek out a bit to hint at the fun. You could even cut into the rail a bit under the pin side of a rt sear. I may do this if I decide to trim the hight of the grip frame a bit.

Or at least so I think.

maybe u could add a small rail in between the body and rail...u take 2 piece of aluminum...mill and identical slot in each...mill in a big oring slot all the way around...bolt the slots onto the other rail find a way to extend the workings of the frame into the body and badda bing lol u got it

I have also thought about this numerous times. Hardline through rail, hidden macro, pressed in hose groove on side of rail....

I've got a project in my head I still haven't tried, to do something similar. Maybe I can bump it up in the project stack to sometime soon.

Let us know if your actually try it and not all talk!
