Im looking to try to make my sydarm hold more rounds. IF i could put a different bolt in so the air was fed directly into the valve ( like the minimag) i could use the space where the 12 gram goes to put another spring feed in and have 2 seprate 8 rnd loads. Any way it would take some work but my question: can i power my sydarm without using the top tube?

The Sydarm valve actually has a slightly different circumference than a regular (AM, MM, X, etc.) valve. It would take some real work to make it fit. I think you would be better off using anything but a Sydarm valve, and mod a standard body.

The problem is the ball drop into the breach is in the middle. Even if you to cutt off the rear portion of the feed tube where the co2 cartridge goes and fit in a regular valve, adding more balls to the feed tube is not possible. I seen someone take off the front magazine tube plug off and mount a warpfeed to it. I think your beatting yourself over the head trying to make the Sydarm into something other than what it was designed for a holsterable pistol. If your planning modding an AGD pistol you might want to look at buying a classic mag. It's a lot cheaper and are readily available.Originally posted by skylessIm looking to try to make my sydarm hold more rounds.
