I was looking at this earlier today while surfing jayloo. Can't wait to see the vid. I plan on doing it, just as soon as I can find a place to mount the freaking LPR, this looks like a good idea, but it would require a lot more chopping than I want to do an my frame.
I like the way this guy did it, but I if I'm about 2 degree's off in the tap for the LPR, it's going to be way crooked.

I made the adapter from a scrap piece of 1x1x3 alluminium i had at work, so i'm not sure how much it cost. I can't imagine it to be very expensive, you would just have to know where to find material like that. I toyed with the idea of making it look like an a.s.a. dovetail giving it a total "sleeper" apperance, but i that would require much more work. I would have had to fabricate a dovetail with only one mount screw and the notch where for it to rest up into the frame. A complete possability, but since I have always played remote, for me the small line-body with a nipple in the back was the easiest plan. I understand that a solid block of metal is not the best looking accessory, but we can always get creative and make it look better later. I'm not quite sure how long it took me in hours, because I worked on it a little at a time over the course of a few weeks. I basicly fallowed the same procces on the "project red eye" pneumag. The only work I had to do differently to the frame to put the reg inside took me five minutes on a band saw. Also for the trigger pin I tapped the passage way and put in a nylon bolt, then drilled it for a 1/8" dowel pin. If you look at the first pic blown up you can see part of it in the little notch behind the trigger.
