Anodizing a ULE Body

Ok, I believe there is a ring of steel on the inside of the ULE Bodies. First of all is that correct? Secondly how do you anno one with that ring in it? Is there a way to take it out? Someone suggested filling the body with parrafin wax. would that work?

If anyone has successfully anodized a ULE Body would you please contact me.

there is a steel ring with a "c" clip holding it in, they must be removed prior to anno.
