    Purely stock class mag

In my effort to make a Classic valved, purely stock class mag. (with the ability to also be a spring fed)

So I'm getting a pump kit, a Palmers Rock the boat stabilizer (16 gram threaded)

    But, the questions now are:
what pistol magazines have removable springs?
Can you silver solder an aluminum (most pistol magazines) to SS bodies?

Can you silver solder an aluminum (most pistol magazines) to aluminum bodies?

    any help or ideas appreciated.

(Except to say, dont use a reg on a mag, because i already know, but I like threaded 16 grams more than Quick changers)

also (whats the minimun operating pressure for a classic mag?)

I just bought this custom stock class mag. Yes, there is a WGP hinge frame on there. The person who made this took out the internals and machined it to fit the mag sear in it.

I know theres a Pistol mag someone made with a karta rail, ule body and spring feed magazine. After a few mins of searching its called the Tinymag(Work log).

    minimun operating pressure?

Gould call, regulators and 16gs are both illegal for stock class.

Well, one option is to turn a Sydarm into a pump pistol, like so:

By the way ... yes, that is a Nelspot 007 in the original lether holster right above the Nasty Typhoon and to the left of the KP3 rifle (c:

I'm also working on a similar project but without being pump. A standard feed Automag body can take a Pro Team Warp Feed adaptor (or similar) easily and it's held in place with a screw. I don't see it being very difficult to make it so you can use interchangeable pistol spring magazines. I'm just going to hold my magazine in with set screws, and use the powerfeed plug to load the balls. You don't need to weld everything together, screws work well too. Also, you can use the .22 sight rails on the side of a classic rail to mount a 12 gram changer with scope rings. Many 12 gram changers are 1" in diameter so scope rings are readily available.

Edit: I know a local store who still has a couple of Sydarms in stock

            how much?
I was thinking about one of them, but i dont like them quite as much.

its not really stock class anymore.
            but its coming together slowly.

            More to come later.

found out that screwing is much easier. so that is what i will probably do.

I wanted a sydarm, but I shot one this weekend and found that i have trouble aiming because iof the stacked tube and such, also the design is a little more difficult to reach out and touch somemone.

                    centerfeed twistlock

which is a very hard barrel to find as ive heard.

(but i think you can notch another barrel to work. or get one of doc nickels automag to autococker thread adapters.

Here is my old stock class automag. I have some more pictures with the CF trigger frame, a reverse 15* VA, and a 12 gram quick changer. I will try to find them if you are interested in them.

                        thats a Nice pump mag.

Rainman229 of MCB reputation sells a 10 round spring fed that you can take the spring out of (which is what i wanted) so he is gonna sell me one without the feedneck adapter, im gonna desolder the powerfeed and solder that on. making a 12 gram lever action is the next task but that will all come in good time.

                        thanks for the help.

Gun was aleady made before I bought and the person who made it had plans to send the stock minimag barrel to Doc's to mill it like one of his barrel adpters. I need to get one. My next is a Karta Mag! Lots of cash for one gun. I was saving money for a Karta but the pump took it!
