    Couple of custom jobs...

OK, I've been thinking about a couple of custom jobs for sometime, and know that I do not have the skills or tools to pull them off. I thought i mght as well put the out there and see what might come of them. I guess you never know...

Project #1: I have an original Tippmann ProAm. If you don't know the marker, it has a cast alluminum grip w/ the ASA built inot the back of it. I want to be able to mount a standard rail, cradle, bottom-line, etc. to that. There is not much meat on the bottom of the grip to attach anything to, so I have an idea. I want a block, threaded on the front end to screw into the ASA, but tapped to accept the screws for somethig on the back half. I can see orientation of the back half being a problem. That could be overcome by shimming the ASA, or having the 2 parts rotate independantly.

Project #2: A dual bottom-line. What I'm looking for is a bottom-line w/ ASA's pointing both front and back. Ideally, there would be an internal air passage from front to back, but I think it could work w/ an external (macro-line) one.

Just an FYI, there were prodiction Dual ASA's produced back in the day. I was on the hunt for one of those for a while at the end of last year. I managed to find a guy who offered me the choice of two different ones. All was good until he told me how much he wanted...$80 each!! I had to back out out of the deal because I couldn't see spending that much for a dual ASA. One word of advice if you can get one custom made for a decent price, get check valves put in each one and get a plug made so you can block off one of the ASAs if you don't want to use it. Good luck and post up if you get your projects completed!
