    Rail Milling

How much of the rail is actually needed? If i wanted to file off the rail just in front of and behind the grip would i be killing the rail or would it still work? i don't use a cass through or a front grip at all so i don't need the front mount point.
    thanks

    ask luke or colin
its all about the angles and blind spots... not the marker nor the player.

I know that you could cut off the rail in front of the trigger frame but as for the back part.... I'm not sure if the z-lock is required but look and microemags, they don't have one and they work fine.

Right now Im halfway done with my milling basicly Im taking out the excess metal that sticks out horizontaly, I had to stop and reasemble my gun though because of the NE AO meet so it looks quite stupid right now.
