    Other frames

Currently I'm toying with pnuemags and the ideas they encompass, so I was wondering : what other frames might be suitable?

I know there's RPG frame, but couldnt a Dm4 frame be fitted to the purpose? Not having a dm4 frame handy at the moment I wouldnt know about how much space is inside it, assuming I was mounting the lpr via a T, as seen in Big-Evil's Hellrazor design.

the other option I thought of would be a 45 frame on a BKO, as from the last one I've seen it was a pretty spacious frame to work with, if I wanted to mount the lpr inside.

Just tossing out idea's to hear from folks that know a bit more than I do about it.

You could use any frame really. As long as you drill the right holes for the screws. But why though? Are you trying to save money?

Simply a matter of space/I dont really like the 90 frames.

If I could get a dm4 frame and a nice trigger for it at a decent price (lets say 100) then it saves me quite a bit of work. And intelliframe is vaguely the same price, but this would just be something to add a bit of uniqueness.

On top of that, there are a huge number of bkos floating around for cheap which I could probably get them to part the frame for a 40 dollar sum or so.

I would probably look into using an autococker frame if i was going to make one. The hole patturn is the same as mag, and I'd think you could find a cocker frame for really cheap too.

FYI - the DM frames arent suitable for a mag application where you have to mount a MPA3 inside. I originally got a dm5 frame (Which is now on an Angel speed) for my eframe. There is a big open space on the right side under the grip which makes it practically impossible to mount the mpa3 inside.

The Pro-team frames may or may not be suitable. There is room inside, but probably only enough for a pneu-frame.

Powerlyte Gripsticks look interesting, but again, I dont know how much room there is inside.

you would have to mill out a small spot for the QEV if you're gonna attach it to the MPA-3.

As far as cost minded pneuframes...I'll have to bring back the CF Stock Frame pneumatic setup. If someone donates a stock CF frame...and I can find an MSV-1 lost (not like I dont have 6 more ) I'll mod it up and post it.

Here's the challenge... Someone donate a CF frame, and I'll see if I can get it to shoot my mag faster than a Dmag for under $55 in parts. What would I win?

I think they should get their frame back afterward. You win the right to sell your Dmag for less now that it's not the fastest.

I do have an Emag on the way...but no Dmag or fast hopper, I would need AO's help with the testing. I'll set aside one set of pneumatics. All I need is a stock CF frame...I have grips for that too so wouldn't need those. Still need a donor.
