    Question about tapping

If I wanted to tap an MPA-3 for a 10-32 QEV, what size drill bit would I use? I've never tapped anything before. Also, what is the thread pattern for a clippard QEV?

    Thanks.

      10-32 use a #21 drill

        Cool. Thanks.

I'm still a little confused though. Don't I need to know the thread count of the QEV so I know what tap to use?

if 10-32 is the size of the qev then you need to use a 10-32 tap. 10 refers to the size and 32 is threads per inch.
