Is it possible, how much trouble, ... to do the electric Pneumag project, but locate the Pneumatic parts or some of them in an emag battery case? I would try, but I don't have only a basic minimag with no upgrades or barrel. I'd like to try this as a project, but I've got an uber-ION that has taken up all of my spare change. Just a thought. I've never owned an emag (would love to) so I don't know the dimensions of the emag battery pack.

You could probably fit the board in the battery case, and a 9v as well. You'd just have to have wires going through your rail to the grip frame for the microswitch. You couldnt move any of the pneumatics in there (actually, a LPR MIGHT fit in there)

Can anyone that has an Emag take some inside measurements of the battery casing and post them? I was thinking you might have more room to drop the LPR, an eboard, and battery in there. I understand it requires running wires and/or air lines through the rail, but that can be done. Shorty did it on his where he has the LPR attached to the gas through.
On a straight Pneumag with no electro, you could probably hide the LPR in the battery case, some work on the case might be needed to get an airline in and out of there, but I would think that to be easier than jacking with a frame.
I'm also hesitant about the banjo fitting and airline for that one direct hit during a game. Just being overly cautious and potentially looking at a different way to hide everything. Shorty's pmag is really well done.

The problem is that if you put the LPR in there, there will be no way to get air to it without running a Microline into the battery pack and some pneumatic hosing out of the pack. The rail can be milled for these lines easily. Also, it might be helpful to have the 3/4 way as close to the Ram and QEVs (optional) as possible for more responsive actuation. Are you going to swap the solenoid out for a ram?
You'll probably have to chop up the frame a little bit on the inside. Any reson why your trying to use an Emag frame? That's awefully expensive. If you're just looking to hide the LPR so the gun looks stock, drop me a PM...I'm sure I could set up something suitable wiht the LPR and you can handle the rest.Last edited by Pneumagger; 07-05-2006, 05:13 AM.

That is just an ION banjo fitting i gave him because I think it looks nicer than a Barb. Should be plenty tough. But a barb fitting would also work. wouldn't be any different than a cocker getting hit in the LPR. Clippard also makes brass and nickel banjo fittings and elbows. The LPR (if small enough) can also go inside the frame itself.Originally posted by afortunaI'm also hesitant about the banjo fitting and airline for that one direct hit during a game. I'm willing to bet with a Chimera or Logic vert, I could get an MPA-3, QEV, 9V, Air soldier Solenoid Valve, MicroMorlock, and LPR inside the frame. Better be a Microrock, orracle, or STO Chrome Mini LPR though. It would be a stright bolt on electropneumatic conversion.
