    MPA-3 question

    hey guys
this question is directed to everyone that has made an MPA-3 ram for a pneumag or and electro-pneumag
can you guys tell me the length of the MPA-3 after those internal threads have been cut off and it is as small as possible?
i know the stock length is 1" but i need to know the actual length after it has been modified

    thanks

    what frame is it for?

You dont need to cut it all off, just notch the top and bottom for the sear to travel in. Much easier and less risky.

But i think th etreads are about 1/4" inch deep.

im actually playing with the idea of putting it in a hyperframe

for putting it in the hyperframe i would cut off all the threads, i have access to a mill and a lathe so i could take them off on a lathe without much difficulty
