    MSV2 vs MSV1

Ok so I see that some people have switched to using the msv2 instead of the msv1 because of the lighter weight needed to actuate it. I was wondering how long of a pull is required on the msv2 compared to the msv1 if the trigger pin was in basically the same spot to the trigger? Do you need th entire range on the msv2 or can you cut out some front slack/back slack to make it almost as short as the msv1?
Why doesnt anything work for me.

the middle of my triger moves about 1mm. the bottom of the trigger around 2 mm. the bottom about 3mm. But my trigger rod is up uber high and I don't the cut the lever arm alot.
