    some ideas

hey guy's well after a 5 year hibernation in the paintball world, i am comming out of my cave to start fresh.....it seems like speedball is all the rage, and mil sims are the tuner cars of the PB world....so like my cars i want to build a lil project. Something i can trick out with mil sim parts to look "kool" and play some woodsball, and also something i can strip down bare to play some speedball. Im not planning to play tournys, and i dont need the uber gun, just an all around decent fun marker. My ideas were an a5 with all the gear i like from spec ops, and other websites for woodsball. The the a5 stripped down to a short barrel, e-frame and q loader with remote air, maybe low pressure I think that would make it a decent, fun speed ball marker.

My other choice was a AGD minimag, with the tac one warpfeed body, lvl 10 bolt, x valve, q-loader, and hyper frame. To that i would add mil sim parts to my likingfor woodsball, then strip it down to basics for speed ball. any flaws or suggestions you guys see in my ideas, i would enjoy the feed back. Remember im not tryinf to make the "uber gun" that everyone is gonna want, just something fun that could hold its own in both types of play.. thanks for reading

I like the idea of the warped hyper-tac. though the hyper frame might take a bit of forum searching to find.

For the milsim/woodsball you might look at the apex barrel, it does the same thing a tippman flatline does, except its strait, autococker threaded, and adjustable.

Well, this is the automag owners forum... So of course, I think most will say you should get the mini-tac-x-warp-mag. Personally, I think my A5RT is big and bulky. The cyclone feed is good about not breaking paint, but under heavy use, they aren't as reliable as, say, Tippmann's 98C (according to team members from Tippmann Effect. Don't ask me how I heard all that). Also, as a pump/stock class player, I dislike the enormous profile of an A5, especially when shooting out the right side of your bunker. It blocks my vision, and presents a big target. It's a reliable gun, but some design elements preclude me from recommending it. Did I mention it is heavy? I play mostly with a Phantom, which has a very similar form factor to a mag. If I were you (I'm not), I'd go mag.

well i decided to do both, my problem now lies in which i should do first, like i said its been about 5+ years since i been n a field or even shot a PB marker. and here in west pal where im at i belive the local field is hotspot, or somrthing like that, and they have both spped and rec. ball so im in a quandry about which should come first, speed a5, milsim a5, or speed mag, or milsim mag?????

Get a Tac One from automags.org moderator Tunaman.
Send him a private message. He'll hook you up.
Get the ultra light trigger pull kit (ULT).
I bought one from him years ago and just recently an Emag also.
Ebay is good if you know what you are looking for but you have
              to be careful.
              Tunaman is a safe bet.
