You have just inspired me. I'm going to build one! I'm not sure where I can buy some peg board or mounts (maybe Lowe's or Home Depot?), but I could always drill my own from some nice wood. Stain it. Add a glass cover. Maybe add a brief caption about the gun. Just like in a museum. It'd look sweet.
