    spyder valve question

I am not very familiar with the aftermarket spyder valves, are there any valves that dont create any blow back at all on the hammer? I am wanting a valve that releases no air to the hammer side, anyone have any suggestions?

i'm pretty sure all spyder valves are designed to leak. You could probably make a valve pin that wouldn't leak.

I think a pgp valve might be like that, seeing as how you have to pump it after ever shot and all.

      Why do you ask?

Its for a project idea I have.

I will look into the pgp valve, I am also going to check on the dragun/odessy valves.

None of the blowback clones will do what you're looking for. I'm assuming you want to make a pump? You have to find someone to make you a valve stem with out the flat spot. Since there is no o-ring in this part of the valve you'll still get a little blowback. Take the o-rings off the hammer/striker and you should be alright.

I am not doing a pump and will be doing away with the hammer/striker completly.

make a new pin (all it is, is a piece of round bar stock with threaded end) or get a valve that uses an extra hole to give the blow back and plug it.

You know, I hadnt considered a cocker becuse I know you can get a spyder so cheap. However a autococker might be work out even better with a lot less work, since its already setup with a ram to move the bolt and the electronic boards can control 2 solenoids. Now I just need to find me a cheap E1 autococker...

Pretty much any stacked tube popet valve body will work for me, I was just thinking a spyder becuse I know I could pick one up for under $50 and not worry about screwing it up.

dont quote me on this i belive a viking valve will fit into older spyders "fatty hammer" new not sure. but then again gettting a viking valve isnt the easiest..

but i do know the fatty hammer spyders do accept viking valves
