ok so i have looked around for a while for an xmag... and i have come up with nothing. so i was wondering if i could buy an unmilled body and send it out to get milled? i also need to know what else i would have to buy to have a compleate gun and from that list what i should have sent out to get milled. i know this is going to be very expinsive and take alot of time but its worth it. thanks for all the help

i take it that by "x-mag" you're looking for a karta type body on an electro mag.
in that case your parts list should be as follows:

karta or slug body.
karta or whatever custom rail you prefer (make sure to get a sear)
e-mag lowers with internals, battery, battery pack, charger, eyes are a plus.
xmod software, i believe this can be flashed onto the existing e-mag board.
x valve (lvl10 should come with this, but if you use eyes then you may not want to use it)
cocker threaded barrel
feedneck of your choosing.

that should be about it other than a drop/rail and air fittings. sombody please correct me if i left anything out.

with the karta body you won't have the nifty breeches that you got with the xmag but it is the same styling.

you can also go with any other body such as the chord, dallara, ule, or tac one. use any of those words as search terms around here if you aren't familiar with the various parts available for the mag. the chord, dallara, and karta are all made by deadlywind. slug bodies are made by AGD and are basically unmilled aluminum bodies that they send to places like deadlywind. i'm not sure if they're still being offered. check the site.

thanks alot that really helped il post up some pics when i get this thing finished, i think im going to get a slug body and mill that out. il shoot you a pm if i have any questions you seem to be all knowing

two guys to talk to about this would be Tunaman and Rogue Factor. i hear RRfireblade is doing custom milling now.
