    Dremel bits help

    Hi guys,
I tried to find some help on these but i couldn't figure to much out.
Anyways, i recently got a dremel like i have been trying to do for sometime. However, i there is one thing i am having problems with. On a AM/MM rail the little raised edges are in they way of my new prject. Basically i want to completely cut them off. What i am wondering is what is the best piece to do this?
If that doesn't make sense i can try to re-type it, but i tihnk it is possible to understand

    Thanks everyone

with a dremmel... Get some popcorn ready... cause you'll be there for a while.

Reinforced cuttoff wheels should do the trick. They are Black and are visibly fiber reinforced. However, I prefer the heavy brownish cuttoff wheels sold in packs of 20. They don't last quite as long, but are cheaper and you get more of them. I also feel they are wider and can give a better finish with the cut.

honestly, you will not get a smooth finish with the dremmel without a nice buffer and lots of sanding of sorts. Plus AGD aluminum is very tough and would probably eat about 10 of thse discs. I reccomend having someone capable to mill of the rail for a couple bucks. It will save you time, headaches, and look a billion times better.

      cutoff disks...

i would also look into a cilindrical file... (i dont know if thats a real word, but its a file and its a cilinder.) you basically take it and rub it up and down so that if you are looking at the top of the rail, it goes from a T to a cross, to a plus sign and reverse. its easy.

        alright thanks guys.
Pneumagger this is just a little for fun prject on a beater rail. The part i am cutting off will not be visible and i want to do it all myself(even if it takes longer). I'll head over to home depot today or tomorrow and check out the pieces suggested.
Also, pneumagger i will be PM'ing you on monday probably.

Alex, long time no see we need to go play again
