    Stripped trigger screw

How boned am I at the moment? The head is stripped into a circle and I am unaware of anything tiny enough to take it out and it doesnt look like I can score it to fit a screwdriver in there.

Suggestions? I have no idea how to remove the magnet from the rear of the trigger.

    glue it

sacrifice the allen key, clean it off, dab of 2 part epoxy or decent superglue, let it sit for about 2 hours or overnight stuck int he screw, and take the screw out.

please be careful not to use so much glue it overflows and glues other parts together!

Or TIG weld another screw to the old one. It works 2 ways, heats the old screw up and gives you a unstripped head.

I would not attempt this with any other welding process.

Please... Luke. Just use a 1/4" rod Arcwelder. That should solve your problem. In the process you may want to buy a new frame

But really... it's a 10-32. Go to a hardware store and buy the strongest 2pt Epoxy they have. Be sure to let it dry at least 12-24 hours for max shear strength. It's a cheap home solution. If that doesn't work... TIG welding will but you have to know what your doing.

You could drill it out, and tap for a larger screw.

You cant fit a head of a punch in there sideways and hammer it out?.

I guess you mean the trigger magnet carrier ? If so take the trigger out and glue something to the magnet and use that to spin out the screw.

He's talking about the set screw on a trigger, not the trigger pin.

hmm heres what i would do.i would remove the trigger ans secure it in a vise.grab a tapered tool.more than likely a nail punch.jam it in and turn it loose.it shouldnt be in too hard if it wasnt glued

It appears that the magnet is glued into the trigger....I believe this bones me rather well.

Anyone have a trigger they want to sell? ^^

the hard part is the magnet carrier , they are hard to find , might want to look into a tunablade of another trigger anyway. cost may be cheaper to replace than repair with new carrier ..

I agree with Kayle, try the tunablade.
