Matrix compotent users : Look here

Ugh. Yet more problems. I have been having a bad time lately with my markers. First my viking goes down mysteriously and now my matrix is on the fritz.

It is a Gen E matrix

Problems : I've been told by the PBN guys that I need to adjust/reset my regs...Ofcourse no one manages to tell me how to do this, they simply refer to the "sticky"...Which is probably the least amount of information one can give.

    With that being said :

I turn my matrix on. My CP reg is set to 0 psi. My PBC LPR is turned all the way in.

    1 -Nothing.
2 -As the pressure increse the bolt slowly creeps forward.
3 -If I turn off the air supply, push the bolt back into it's rear position and then start the air again it will either make a small pop and then fire (without me pulling the trigger) or the bolt will slam forward and fire as well as vent air.

Regardless of what I set my lpr to the marker will flat out refuse to fire when I activate the trigger and the bolt will simply slam forward. Setting my input pressure will cause the bolt to fly forward.

With all that being said, I am quickly losing patience in this. Everything is lubed, all O rings are in fine condition and the battery is fine. I'd really prefer to fix it myself rather than send it away but it's very frustrating, so any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated

Yeah, sounds like the solenoid. What type of 'noid does it use?

Sorry I can't be of much help. Wierd hearing about a Gen-E break down, though. That's not too common.

Check the battery, make sure it is good. Put a new one (or known good one) in anyway.
Does the solenoid cycle when you pull the trigger?
It is very rare for these solenoids to go bad, however I have heard of a couple.
You also have the PBC set too high, when the LPR is set too high, the bolt has a tendency to shoot forward. Turn it back out to 1/2 - 3/4.
Slowly turn your HPR up until the marker tries to cycle when you pull the trigger.
Once it cycles consistently, you'll need to use a chrono to set the HPR.
Contact me if you need anymore help. I'm not saying I'm an expert but I have had my fair share of Matrix's.
