OK, her goes, i just got my pneumag to be a fully walkable titan! At first i couldn't work out why it would chuff when walked but would fire single shots in quick succession with no problems. At first i thought it was my modified Retro valve not having enough reactivity after the mod. I also noticed that when the bottle pressure gauge got to about 1500psi it hardly fired at all when walked. So i connected my pneumag straight to the dive bottle and viola!! It walked like a dream! Ah ha! It occured to me that the MPA-3 hose is bent around on itself it, may not be letting enough air through to recharge the MPA-3. Turns out i was right. Only problem was, that i had to drill a large hole through the rail to give me enough clearence so that the hose would not kink. I don't have a mill to extend the mill channel towards the rear of the rail and into the frame, so that will have to wait. What a difference it's made! Also, setting the LPR pressure proved to be critical to performance...
1)...Not enough pressure causes the gun either to fire irregularly when walked, but single shots seem to fire ok, or not at all. But the MSV-2 works just fine.
2)...Too much seemed to have the same problem! Then the MSV-2 would start to vent air as the pressure would be too high.
So to anyone having trigger walking problems, do this.
1)...Check that your hoses are not kinked in the frame.
2)... When setting up the LPR, put a dob of Loktite on the adjuster screw to keep the LPR pressure set, otherwise the adjuster screw winds itself out and the pressure drops and it won't fire.(I have a Palmer Micro rock, if you don't do this your gun won't work.) Walk the trigger as your adjusting the LPR, at first it may not fire, slowly screw the screw in until it starts to fire intermittently. Keep screwing in the screw, while still walking the trigger, soon it should be on the verge of walking probably firing 2-3 shots in short busts before chuffing, a bit more and it should start to walk.
3)...If it still won't walk try this. Buy an e-mag on/off pin as they're shorter than the RT on/off so they provide more reactivity and will make it even easier to walk. To be honest, in my opinion, if you don't already have an e-mag on/off you should really be thinking about buying one, as it makes the world of difference.
4)...If you still haven't bought an e-mag on/off, try a LX10 shim in the bottom of the on/off as this also provides a bit more reactivity (I've done both so i know it works).
5)...Try to have a full dive bottle, 'cos your gonna get through alot of air.
Muwahahahaha!!!
