    Pneumag air assist *feed*?

I was thinking about putting together a pneumag for my winter project. As I was visualizing the components I was reminded of the older air assist feed systems that some early electro guns had...where there was a hose going up to the elbow that would squirt a little air and push the balls down into the feed neck. Some people swear it works, some don't.

Now, I know that the most practical thing to do is to buy a force feed hopper for reliable feeding. However, let's say I want to stay with a 12v revvy...could I tap into the pneumatics someplace, like the QEV, and run a hose to the elbow to make it air assist feed?

    Could this work?

Sure, you run the hose from the unused port on your smav or msv2.

But do you think it would work work? Would it actually help increase the reliability and the feed rate on a 12v Revvy connected to a power feed body, or would it do no more than look cool and occasionally break a ball in the neck?

i say go for it - i had an old adreniln angel with the air assist that was fun and cool. i put some QEVs on my old eblade cocker and added an air assist - i will look for pics. it is funny how we used to do things with guns that the new kids think is totally a waste of time - it might be but you did it and you like so:

yeah! go boy - do your thing skru the kiddies if you don't fall into their line
